Chocolate Overnight 'Noats'

When you've had eggs too many mornings, but want to eat a protein, low-sugar breakfast - try this easy make ahead meal. The oatmeal has been replaced with hemp, flax and chia seeds that boosts nutrition and flavor by adding more protein, fiber and omega 3 fats. How delicious is this?

Ingredients.

  • 1/2 cup hemp hearts

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup ground flax seeds

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder [may use cocoa powder]

  • 1/4 cup almond butter [just almonds and salt.]

  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 4 cups unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh berries

Method.

  1. In a large bowl, combine hemp, chia, flax, cacao powder, salt, cinnamon and sweetener. Mix well.

  2. Add almond butter, vanilla and almond milk and mix thoroughly.

  3. In 4 jars with lids, add 1 tbsp. berries to bottom of each jar.

  4. Divide the 'Noats' evenly into the jars.

  5. Top each jar with 1 tbsp. berries.

  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

To Serve.

Top 'Noats' with coconut flakes and chopped nuts. Drizzle with almond butter.

Enjoy!
