Stop Pocking The Bear!

This saying '"poke the bear" is an idiom that means to deliberately provoke or annoy someone - especially a person who is potentially dangerous. It also implies taking a risk by stirring up trouble, often with potential negative consequences.

What's The Goal?

Have you ever considered that your lifestyle and dietary choices are the primary contributor to your declining health?

Our current system of health care actually is a management system that waits until we're sick before we receive any care. Then, because of our symptoms our doctor then prescribes something to manage our issues.

Because of this model, as we age we begin to collect prescriptions - some to address our symptoms and others to address the effects of what's designed to address our initial issues.

Do You Suffer From...

  • Obesity

  • Fatty Liver

  • High Blood Pressure

  • High Blood Sugar

  • Neuropathy Pain

  • Poor Sleep

  • PCOS

  • ED

  • Migraines

  • Arthritis

  • Heart Disease

If you answered yes to any of these, let's consider how our lifestyle, dietary choices, and standard method of care isn't solving the problem - it's managing it.

Labs To Ask Your Doctor To Run Yearly [at least]

We all should be asking our healthcare provider to run these labs, especially if we're exhausted, inflamed, overweight, bloated and don't feel great. We can't begin to change until we know what's happening.

Unfortunately, our fasting glucose and A1c are just the tip of the iceberg, because the real story is hidden in many of the underrated labs that might not be run.
  • Fasting Insulin - the earliest warning sign of blood sugar dysfunction which sets us up for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.

  • High sensitive C-Reactive Protein [hs-CRP]- a valid marker to detect silent inflammation. It can reveal chronic disease risk before symptoms show up. It won't tell you exactly where the inflammation is, but it will tell you that it's in your body!

  • Liver Enzymes [AST, ALT, Alk Phos] - fatty liver disease is on the rise, yet the symptoms are silent. The liver can become overworked from sugar, toxins, or hormone issues. Suffering from low stomach acid, zinc deficiency, or bile flow dysfunction are also common when liver enzymes are off.

  • Lp[a] - particle size which is a better indicator of potential heart disease development - but rarely tested in a standard panel.

  • Ferritin [ iron] - the storage form of iron that can reveal inflammation, hidden anemia, hair loss or low energy if either too high or low.

  • Vitamin D & B12 - metabolic foundation markers. Low levels can mimic thyroid, adrenal, low energy. When low, healing can be stalled.

3 Changes To Make That Will Move Your Needle.

  1. Eat By The Clock.

Stop eating all day & night long and begin an intermittent eating schedule.

Begin by making sure you have 12 hours between your last meal and when you eat again the following day. This is called a 12/12 schedule and it's a great beginning to reducing the constant flow of insulin which will improve metabolic health.

As you become adapted to this time frame, begin to decrease the eating window to 10 hours, then 8 hours and eventually 6 hours, arriving at a 18/6 schedule.

This has a far greater impact on improving our health- much more that what we eat.

Health Fact.

The shorter the eating window, the greater the health improvements realized, especially if you have been diagnosed with fatty liver, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, all diseases of insulin resistance.

  1. Add The Feel Great System For 3 Months. This is an easy, cost-effective way to see the improvements you've been chasing.

As I move into the final months of 2025, and have spent time reflecting on all the things I've learned and tried - adding Feel Great to my routine has already resulted in real improvements.

Full Disclosure.

First, I added a full lab panel to actually find out where I stood.

My results were dissapointing in a few key areas:

  1. Full Lipid Panel revealed triglycerides that are higher than 2 years ago. Higher Lp[a] particle size means that I have the more troubling smaller and denser particles that can cause problems for my vessel health and heart outcomes.

  2. Elevated Blood Pressure

  3. Increased Waist Circumference indicates an increase in the dangerous visceral fat I'm carrying.

These areas are of great concern as they should be, and this is what has led me to study and choose to include the Feel Great Protocol.

This system pairs beautifully with my training as a Nutritional Practitioner where my focus is on eating whole, real foods. I advocate a balanced plate approach that hits both adequate amounts of protein and fiber at every meal. I believe that carbohydrates are NOT the enemy, and eliminating entire food groups can lead to all sorts of problems.

I take the approach that we are all unique, and what might work for me isn't necessarily what will work for you.

Are you weary of starting over again and again?

  • Do you struggle with rising cholesterol, blood pressure, and other metabolic markers that now require multiple medications?

  • Do you avoid going to the doctor because you're afraid of what you'll find out?

  • Have you disregarded some symptoms that should be addressed?

  • Have you given up because you can't see a way out?

I hear you and I can help you.

Please reach out today so I can share with you a simple affordable approach to finally dropping the weight, lowering your triglycerides, blood pressure, eliminating fatty liver, prediabetes and elevated cholesterol numbers without expensive medications that all include side-effects.

Now is the right time to finally do something that will work.

Email or text; Feel Great

We can do this.
