Super-Charge Your Coffee

What if your morning brew could become an anti-inflammatory, fat-burning, brain-boosting cup of deliciousness?

Studies show that combining MCT oil and organic butter with a cup of coffee increases its effects. The caffeine in the coffee also increases your body's ability to burn fat for energy, making coffee, butter and MCT Oil-the perfect trifecta.

The fats from the organic butter and MCT also slow the absorption of the caffeine, which gives a gentler, steadier dose of energy throughout the morning.

Coffee Beans.

Choose organic coffee beans which are loaded with essential nutrients, polyphenols, and antioxidants. Studies show that coffee improves your focus and memory recall, and lowers the risk of stroke and heart failure.

All coffee is not created equal, the quality of your coffee beans count.

Coffee beans often carry naturally-occuring mold toxins - these can be carcinogenic and impair the immune system. Moldy coffee also gives you the jitters and increases brain fog.

Organic Butter.

Butter is what gives Power Coffee its creamy consistency. Choose grass-fed butter over regular butter. Here's why: Regular butter [from grain-fed cows] has a different fat composition that doesn't blend as well or taste as good as butter from pasture-raised cows.

More importantly, when cows graze on grass, their milk is jam-packed with healthy fats and vitamins like vitamins A, K, and E - these nourish your skin, heart, brain, and eyes plus a lot more.

Butter is also rich in fatty acids, including conjugated acid [CLA] - which burns fat and is anti-inflammatory and butyrate - a short-chain fatty acid that strengthens the gut and the brain.

Cows that eat grains don't pack the same nutritional profile, and they produce milk that's lower in nutrients and omega-3 fatty acids.

Consider Ghee.

If milk gives you digestive or skin problems, try organic grass-fed ghee. Ghee is butter that's been heated and strained to remove the milk fats and water along with removing the lactose acid and casein that bothers some people.

What's MCT Oil?

MCT Oil is a purified form of saturated fatty acids called medium-chain triglycerides [MCT's] derived from 100% coconut oil.

Adding MCT Oil to your coffee is where the magic begins.

Benefits Include:

  • Raises fat-burning.

  • Boosts brain molecules called ketones.

  • Supports weight loss.

  • Reduces inflammation.

  • Super-charges brain activity.

  • Supresses ghrelin the "hunger" hormone.

  • Increases cholecystokinin [CCK] which makes us feel satisfied.

Using this powerhouse blend in your coffee can improve so many metabolic functions especially when we are giving our cells a break from the constant influx of food through fasting.

Drinking a Power Coffee can make it easier to extend this eating window which encourages our body to release fat and burn the released fat as energy.

Cacao.

This optional ingredient to Power Coffee really increases both it's nutritional profile and adds a delicious chocolaty addition. Coffee and chocolate compliment one another and you'll find it enhances your morning brew.

Cacao powder is packed with flavonoids, which have been shown to help lower blood pressure, lower inflammation, improve blood to your brain and heart, and help prevent blood clots.

The antioxidants in cacao affects how your body responds to insulin, which lowers your chance of type 2 diabetes.

Cacao a Superfood.

Another bonus of adding cacao, is it's superfood status. It contains more antioxidants per gram than

blueberries, goji berries, red wine, prunes and even pomegranates! Cacao triggers three neurotransmitters that are associated with elevating mood and mental well being: serotonin, dopamine, and phenlethylamine.
